Two lifelong friends building something real.

We've been best friends since we were kids — not two people who met at a conference and spotted a market opportunity. Harvest Goals is a two person, women led company in an industry — seed breeding and import — that is still overwhelmingly male at every level.

Working with a women led supplier can open doors

Many retailers and distributors run supplier diversity programs, and certification as a women owned business, for example through WBENC, opens access to their procurement networks. At the federal level, USDA and its Farm Service Agency offer loans, outreach, and technical assistance for women and minority farmers. How do I order seed?

What exactly is a trial packet?

A small packet of a single variety, provided at little or no cost, so you can plant a short row and judge it in your own soil and climate before committing to a full season. Each packet carries a complete grow guide and planting map.

Are these seeds GMO?

No. Our vegetable varieties are conventionally bred F1 hybrids — the first generation cross of two selected parent lines. They are non GMO and intended for planting only.

Why is the seed treated, and is that safe?

Some seed is treated with a fungicide or insecticide to protect it during germination — standard practice for hybrid vegetable seed. Where seed is treated, the product, purpose, and safety statements are printed plainly on the label. Treated seed is for planting only, never for food, feed, or oil. Untreated seed for organic and no spray growers is coming soon — let us know if you'd like to be notified.

Where can I grow these varieties?

We ship nationwide. Each label maps sowing windows to USDA hardiness zones, so you can match planting to your local conditions. These are warm season crops that need frost free conditions and warm soil to establish.

Can I save seed from the harvest?

F1 hybrids do not come true from saved seed — the next generation loses the uniformity and vigor. That is the one trade off of hybrids, and why growers buy fresh seed each season for a dependable crop.
